Hi all! June was National Safety Month and it was a perfect time to conduct our Safety Week. Our corporate office started the Safety Week with our CPR Training class that happened on June 5. It was fun as we did our first in group training after a year of social distancing. The training was engaging and hands on, as we practice on "George", the manikin. We even learned that the song, "Staying Alive" and "Another One Bites the Dust" are actually a 100bpm song which can be helpful when doing the CPR. After the CPR class, we then conducted our Safety Week Training. We setup our training outside the parking lot of Railroad and held each training for every department. They all have their designated schedule and it is a mandatory training for everybody. We covered our RAMAR policies, provided Safety Videos such as Proper Lifting Techniques, Slips, Trips, and Falls, Ergonomics, and Safety Driving Techniques.
